Equity Unit

The Equity Unit advises OPSEU/SEFPO provincial and regional committees and caucuses on issues related to women, people with disabilities, workers of colour, Aboriginal workers, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/transsexual, intersexed, aseuxal, queer, questioning and two spirited (LGBTTIAQQ2S) workers, francophones and young workers. Solidarity Funds

The Live and Let Live Fund is dedicated to exclusively support organizations that are actively involved in combatting HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa and Ontario. The Social Justice Fund is dedicated to build linkages with communities in developing countries and to fund projects that support trade unions, community groups, indigenous rights, and women’s rights.
