This is a grassroots event where women and trans people take over the streets of Toronto. Meeting time: 12:30 p.m. outside the OPSEU/SEFPO Membership Centre, 31 Wellesley St. E.
10 a.m. to 12 noon
OPSEU/SEFPO Membership Centre, 31 Wellesley St. E.
Make sure you have enough energy for the day’s activities by fueling up at the Annual Pride Brunch!
1:30 p.m.
Bloor Street and Ted Rogers Way
Bring sunscreen, water (to drink AND to squirt) and get ready to march, dance and celebrate the Pride Parade! We do not have a float this year; we will be at the parade check-in area for 12:30 p.m. where we will be marching with the OFL. The OFL has 6 seats for accessibility. Please notify the RAA if you would like to participate pride@opseu.org.
There are washrooms for marchers along Bloor St., and water is being made available along the parade route by Pride Toronto.
4 p.m. (or immediately following the Pride Parade)
OPSEU/SEFPO Membership Centre, 31 Wellesley St. E.
What is the best thing after spending an afternoon in the sweltering heat? Air conditioning! However, burgers and hot dogs are a close second, and the BBQ has both. Join fellow OPSEU/SEFPO members, their friends and families at the OPSEU/SEFPO Membership Centre as we wind down the weekend’s festivities.
Happy Pride!
